Biografía

Jennifer Vanderpool es una artista visual radicada en Los Angeles, California.

Vanderpool crea instalaciones interiores y exteriores a gran escala con objetos, cine experimental, video, animación y sonido. Ha exhibido en museos y galerías en EEUU, México, Hungría, Dinamarca, Suecia y Noruega. Vanderpool ha sido galardonada con dos premios internacionales del Danish Arts Council, recibió también la beca-bolsa de trabajo del Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

Su trabajo ha sido reseñado en The New York Times, Sculpture, Art Papers, Artweek, Arte ltd., Angeleno, Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Houston Chronicle, Kansas City Star, World Tulsa, Dagens Nyheter, Politiken, El Universal y El Tiempo, como en numerosas revistas y periódicos nacionales e internacionales. 

Vanderpool tiene un Ph.D. independiente e interdisciplinario en las prácticas críticas de Arte de Regentes de la Universidad de California, y un MFA de la Universidad de California, Santa Barbara.
